Chicago Fire’s new McDonald’s Park reveals luxury suites with 600 seats and heated seating in The 78

Chicago Fire FC showed the public a full-scale model of a luxury suite at McDonald’s Park, the team’s new stadium in The 78 neighborhood of the South Loop.

Chicago Fire FC gave the public its first look inside the luxury suites at McDonald’s Park, the club’s new stadium planned for the South Loop.

The team displayed a full-scale model of a suite with the same finishes and decor planned for the stadium. The preview also included seating options, including standard stands and premium heated seats.

McDonald’s Park is scheduled to open in summer 2028. Developers have placed the stadium at the center of The 78, a new neighborhood rising in the South Loop.

The luxury suite section will have 600 seats. Those seats include access to behind-the-scenes areas of the stadium and heated seating. The Fire said the suite views will put spectators closer to the field than the suites at Soldier Field, where the team currently plays.

The suite model showed the finishes and services the club plans to offer in the new stadium. The Fire said the venue will be smaller and closer to the field than Soldier Field, where it plays now.

The stadium is part of The 78, a mixed-use development with housing, offices and public space.

The Fire have played at Soldier Field since 2003, with a break in 2020 when they played at SeatGeek Stadium. The move to McDonald’s Park would bring the club back closer to downtown and place it in The 78.

The Fire will show the suite model to fans and season-ticket holders before the stadium opens in 2028.
